Imagine being married to an engineer, obsessing over little details, always aware of the intricacies of how things work. Now imagine this engineer spouse of yours combined their powers into creating a one of a kind wedding ring and voila, you have the projector ring.
Luke Jarram the designer worked with Jeweler Tamrakar to create a ring that houses several small photos set opposite a lens. When the lens is exposed to a light source the pictures are projected, bringing the love of your life with you wherever you go. Interchangeable photos, and a modern stylish look make this ring not only an amazing invention, but incredibly functional as well for an everyday piece of jewelry.
Will we be seeing this design on a larger scale? I think so, with the up and coming generations getting more and more creative with their wedding rings and moving away from the traditional diamond, I believe designs like this will have a place in the bridal jewelry market for years to come. However when asked to make this ring for other people’s engagements his reply was “Congratulations on your engagement! I’m afraid this ring was a one off, made for my wife. I’m afraid you’ll have to make your own unique ring for your own unique partner!”
